The federal government will officially launch the digital trade platform for air and sea cargo in March 2026.
In a post on X on Tuesday, the Federal Aviation Authority of
Nigeria (FAAN) said the directorate of cargo development and services, in
collaboration with the national single window (NSW) team, recently engaged key
stakeholders and announced the planned rollout date.
“The Directorate of Cargo Development and Services of FAAN,
in collaboration with the @NSW_Nigeria team, recently engaged with key
stakeholders and announced that the Digital Trade Platform is scheduled for
launch in March 2026,” the post reads.
“During the engagement, all cargo airline operators were
directed by the Honourable Minister of Finance to submit their air cargo
manifests through the National Single Window (NSW) platform in preparation for

The authority said training sessions will be conducted ahead

The president noted that the platform would tackle red tape,
bureaucratic bottlenecks, delays and corruption at the ports, curb revenue
