Vice President Kashim Shettima has arrived in Jos, the capital of Plateau State, to lead the formal reception of Governor Caleb Mutfwang into the All Progressives Congress (APC).
on landing at Yakubu Gowon Airport in Heipang, the Vice President was warmly welcomed by Governor Mutfwang, members of the National and State Assemblies, prominent APC leaders, party stalwarts, and enthusiastic supporters.
Accompanied by Governor Mutfwang, Vice President Shettima then proceeded to the Jos Polo Ground, the designated venue for the grand reception ceremony.
The event marks a significant political development in Plateau State, following Governor Mutfwang's defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the ruling APC. It has drawn national attention, with top party figures and dignitaries expected to attend the occasion at the Polo Ground.
