Vice President Kashim Shettima has arrived in Maiduguri, Borno State, to attend the combined 1st, 2nd, and 3rd convocation ceremony of Kashim Ibrahim University of Science and Technology.
The event, holding on January 3, 2026, will feature the award of degrees to over 2,000 graduates across the three academic sessions.
Among the graduands, 28 students have distinguished themselves by earning First Class honours degrees.
The convocation marks a significant milestone for the state-owned institution, highlighting its growth and academic excellence amid Borno's ongoing recovery and development efforts.
Vice President Shettima, a former Governor of Borno State, is expected to play a prominent role in the ceremony, showing the federal government's support for education in the North-East region.
