Nicki Minaj, the Trinidadian-American rapper, has shown off
President Donald Trump’s immigration “gold card,” a new fast-track visa and
residency programme.
The singer took to her X page on Wednesday to flaunt the
card, which is emblazoned with the president’s face, a bald eagle and the
Statue of Liberty.

In a subsequent post, Minaj suggested the Treasury
Department waived the $1 million price tag for the card, adding “Gold Trump
card free of charge”.
The rapper, who is on her way to obtaining US citizenship,
added, “Residency? Residency? The cope is coping”.
“Finalizing that citizenship paperwork as we speak as per my
wonderful, gracious, charming President. Thanks to the petition,” she wrote.
“I wouldn’t have done it without you. Oh CitizenNIKA you are thee moment. Gold Trump card free of charge.”

The announcement follows her recent appearance alongside the
president at the Trump Accounts Summit in Washington, D.C., where she declared
herself “probably the president’s number one fan”.
“The hate or what people say does not affect me at all. It
actually motivates me to support him more,” Minaj stated at the event.
“We are not going to let them get away with bullying him. He
has a lot of force behind him and God is protecting him.”
