Josephina ‘Phyna’ Otabor, winner of Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) season seven, has claimed her friendship with activist VeryDarkMan (VDM) is the reason actress Iyabo Ojo stopped supporting her.
During a recent Twitch livestream, Phyna described a stark
change in Ojo’s engagement, recalling a time when the actress actively liked
and commented on her social media posts. That support, she claimed, has since
vanished.
In a viral video from the stream, the reality star suggested
the rift is connected to her association with VDM, born Martins Otse.
“I feel mama (Iyabo Ojo) doesn’t like me anymore because
before she used to comment and like my posts, but now she no longer likes them,
and she no longer follows me. It’s because of that dirty boy,” she said.
The reality star extended her self-criticism, acknowledging
that aligning with VDM has damaged her relationships with other influencers.

“I have my own share to face. I even went as far as to
insult Victoria Adeleye because of this same dirty boy,” she said.
“So I have had my fair share. A lot of people have stopped
talking to me. There was a time I made a post, and Angel from BBN commented,
and I know she was not happy with me.”
VDM is known for his frequent online disputes with various
public figures, including Ojo.
As of the time of this report, Ojo has not issued any public
response to Phyna’s latest remarks.
