Prominent activist Aisha Yesufu has expressed confidence that defeating President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election will be easier than it was in the 2023 polls.
Her remarks reflect growing criticism of the current
administration and suggest that public sentiment may shift further against the
president as the next election approaches.
Yesufu, who was a vocal figure during the 2023 elections,
has continued to comment on governance, accountability, and citizens’
engagement in Nigeria’s democratic process.
Posting on X, Yesufu wrote: “God willing, defeating Tinubu
in 2027 will be far easier than it was defeating him in 2023.”
This comes as a chieftain of the African Democratic
Congress, ADC, Dele Momodu, disclosed that the party can topple Tinubu in 2027.
Momodu said with the likes of former Vice President Atiku
Abubakar and Peter Obi, ADC can “topple” Tinubu in 2027.
