The Confederation of African Football, CAF, on Saturday, responded to Senegal’s complaints against Morocco ahead of the AFCON final on Sunday night.
Recall that Senegal had complained to CAF, refusing to train
at the Mohammed VI Football Complex.
The Teranga Lions believe the host team is based opposite
the facility and their sessions could easily be monitored and recorded ahead of
the AFCON final.
However, CAF has now released a statement regarding
Senegal’s complaints.
CAF said it has noted Senegal’s complaints in relation to
their logistics, adding that the West Africans were allowed to select a hotel
for their team ahead of the final and was granted and the matter has been
resolved.
The African football body wished both teams the best of luck
ahead of the final.
