Nigeria’s Super Eagles have raked in $80,000 for their efficiency in front of goal at the ongoing 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
The Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, promised the team
$5,000 per goal during the group stage.
The team earned $40,000 for the eight goals they scored in their three group games against Tanzania, Tunisia, and Uganda.
For the Round of 16 encounter against the Mambas of
Mozambique, they got $40,000 for the four goals scored.
Nigeria will take on the Desert Foxes of Algeria in a
quarter-final fixture at the Marrakesh Stadium on Saturday.
They will fly out of Fès for the game on Thursday.
