The African Democratic Congress, ADC, has charged new members, who recently defected into the party, on unity of purpose to shape the future of Nigeria.
The opposition coalition made the call on Saturday in a post on its official X handle to welcome new members into the party.
Recall that the former Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, alongside other notable Southeast leaders on last Wednesday defected to the ADC ahead of the 2027 general election.
“We proudly welcome Distinguished Senators and Honourable Members who have aligned with the African Democratic Congress, ADC.
“Together, we strengthen the movement for people centred leadership and national renewal,” the party wrote in X.
