Tax Reforms: Oyedele Committee Expands Influencer Training from 20 to 50 Creators


The Presidential Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms Committee has scaled up its flagship influencer education programme on the newly passed tax reform bills, increasing the number of selected content creators from 20 to 50 following massive interest from Nigerian digital influencers.


Chairman of the Committee, Taiwo Oyedele, announced the expansion today, stating that the move will enable more trusted voices to disseminate accurate, fact-checked information about the four tax reform laws recently signed by President Bola Tinubu.


“The overwhelming response shows that Nigerian creators are ready to partner with government to drive proper public understanding of these historic reforms,” Oyedele said.


30 Additional Slots Now Open – Apply Before TomorrowThe Committee has opened applications for the extra 30 positions. 


Interested creators must meet these strict criteria:Minimum combined followership of 10,000 across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, and YouTube (verified screenshots required)   

Full availability to attend the exclusive in-person training session   

Demonstrated commitment to accuracy and willingness to route tax-related content through official channels for verification

Selection of the additional 30 will be based strictly on total verified followership size.


What Selected Creators Will Receive:


Direct, hands-on training by Taiwo Oyedele and senior committee members on the provisions and benefits of the new tax laws.   


Permanent direct WhatsApp and email access to the Committee Chairman and technical team for real-time fact-checking . 


Official listing among Nigeria’s “Top 50 Tax Reform Education Creators” (to be publicly released after training)
