Lere Olayinka, media aide to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, has revealed why the Oyo State Governor fell out with President Bola Tinubu.
Makinde, at a media chat with selected journalists in Ibadan
on Tuesda,y said he would not be supporting Tinubu’s re-election bid.
Makinde, who accused Wike of plotting to destabilize the
Peoples Democratic Party, PDP for Tinubu’s re-election, said he may also be on
the ballot against the president.
Reacting, Lere in a Facebook post, alleged that the governor
fell out with the president because his ministerial nominee was not accepted by
Tinubu.
Lere claimed that Makinde would still be clapping for the
president if his nominee was accepted and formed Tinubu’s cabinet.
“If Governor Seyi Makinde’s nominee for Oyo State
ministerial position was accepted by President Tinubu, he will still be
clapping for the President now”, Lere wrote.
