Operatives of the Borno State Police Command on Saturday successfully repelled a midday attack by suspected Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists on Malari village in Konduga Local Government Area.

The attackers also abducted three farmers – Alhaji Kundili (35), Baba Goni (45), and Modu Baluye (50) who were working on their farmland at the time of the invasion.
The police Crack Squad stationed in Konduga quickly engaged the terrorists in a fierce gun battle, forcing them to flee.
A joint manhunt involving troops of Operation HADIN KAI, police tactical teams, Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), and local hunters has been launched to track the fleeing insurgents and secure the release of the three abducted victims.
