Governor Alex Otti of Abia State has emphasized that his achievements, not propaganda, would speak for him in 2027.
Speaking during a media parley in Umuahia, Otti vowed never
to be distracted by those seeking attention.
He expressed regret over opponents using malicious
propaganda against his administration due to their desperation for power.
The governor said since taking office, he has issued over
10,562 Certificates of Occupancy to property owners.
He also noted that his administration plans extensive road
construction and reconstruction, with mandates for completion before the dry
season ends.
Otti said: “We will continue to pay attention to
governance. And governance is key. We will continue our efforts toward a
developmental revolution. What we are doing has started yielding positive
fruits.
“We will also pursue aggressive construction and
reconstruction of roads.
“Construction work, which slowed down at some point, has
resumed with speed. We will continue to give attention to our contractors,
advancing the state’s infrastructure development.”
