Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, National Leader of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) and leader of the Kwankwasiyya movement, has commended Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for his outstanding performance and massive infrastructural development across the state.
The former Kano governor made the remarks on Sunday night during a courtesy visit by Governor Yusuf to his Abuja residence, where the governor formally presented a prestigious national award recently conferred on him.
Kwankwaso described the Distinguished Award for Visionary Leadership and Public Service Sector Reform bestowed on Governor Yusuf at the Nigeria Excellence Awards in Public Service (NEAPS) as well-deserved recognition of the governor’s commitment to good governance and socio-economic progress in Kano.
“I am extremely delighted with the remarkable achievements of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf. This award is a clear testimony to the people-oriented leadership and transformative developments taking place in Kano State,” Kwankwaso said.
He applauded the governor’s purposeful leadership and urged him to maintain the momentum of reforms and developmental projects that directly benefit the people of Kano.
The NNPP leader also offered prayers for the governor’s continued success and good health as he steers the affairs of the state.
