Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Friday received the immediate past President of Ethiopia, Her Excellency Sahle-Work Zewde, at Lagos House, Marina.
The visit was facilitated alongside Kemi Ajumobi, Founder and Group CEO of Inspiring Woman Africa, a pan-African platform dedicated to empowering and amplifying the voices of women leaders.
During the courtesy call, the trio engaged in discussions centered on leadership, public service, and the potential for greater collaboration through cross-border engagements.
Governor Sanwo-Olu shared details of the meeting via his official social media channels, highlighting the importance of such interactions in fostering opportunities for mutual growth and development.
Sahle-Work Zewde, Ethiopia's first female president who served from 2018 to 2024, has been in Lagos recently, including delivering a keynote address at the 14th Inspiring Woman Africa Conference held on December 11, 2025.
