Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has announced that the Adamawa State Government will pay a 13th-month basic salary to all civil servants as the year comes to a close.

As we close the year, our administration will pay a 13th month basic salary to Adamawa State civil servants," Governor Fintiri posted.

"This is a simple way of saying thank you for your service and easing the season for your families."

The bonus is expected to provide financial relief to state workers amid the holiday period, reinforcing the administration's commitment to employee welfare.

Adamawa was previously noted as one of the first states to implement the ₦70,000 national minimum wage.

Details on the payment schedule have not yet been specified, but the approval has been welcomed as a morale booster for the state's workforce.
