The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced dates for its caucus and national executive committee (NEC) meetings scheduled for the Banquet Hall of the presidential villa in Abuja.
According to a statement on Wednesday signed by Ajibola
Bashiru, the party’s national secretary, the national caucus meeting will
convene on Monday, December 15, at 6pm, while the NEC meeting is set for
Tuesday, December 16, at 12 noon.
President Bola Tinubu, Vice-President Kashim Shettima,
Senate President Godswill Akpabio, and Tajudeen Abbas, speaker of the house of
representatives, are expected to attend the meetings.
State governors and federal lawmakers elected on the APC
platform will also be in attendance.
Bashiru reminded members to take notice of the meeting in
line with Article 12.5 of the APC constitution.
“All members of the National Caucus are by this invitation
to take notice of the meeting in accordance with Article 12.5 of the APC
constitution,” the statement reads in part.
