Air Peace to Resume daily Ibadan-Abuja Flights from December 24

Air Peace has announced the resumption of daily return flights between Ibadan and Abuja, set to commence on December 24, 2025.

This development comes shortly after the Samuel Ladoke Akintola Airport in Ibadan was reopened for scheduled commercial operations by the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA).

The route's reinstatement addresses growing demand from passengers in Oyo State and surrounding areas, particularly during the festive season, providing easier access to the nation's capital for business, governance, and personal travel.

Fares for the Ibadan-Abuja service are expected to start from around ₦95,000, offering a competitive and affordable option amid peak holiday traffic.

This move aligns with Air Peace's broader domestic network expansion, which includes the recent resumption of flights to Warri and increased frequencies on several high-demand routes to accommodate yuletide travelers and support ongoing growth into 2026.

The enhanced operations are supported by the airline's fleet expansion, with the recent addition of a third Embraer 190 aircraft.

This bolstered capacity improves schedule reliability, operational flexibility, and overall passenger experience across domestic routes.

Air Peace emphasized its ongoing commitment to serving underserved markets, alleviating travel challenges, and contributing to Nigeria's socio-economic development through reliable and accessible air connectivity.
