Uche Ekwunife, former senator and All Progressives Congress (APC) deputy governorship candidate in Anambra, has extended warm congratulations to Governor Chukwuma Soludo following his commanding re-election.
Soludo, of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), trounced APC’s governorship candidate Nicholas Ukachukwu by more than 300,000 votes in Saturday’s keenly contested election.
In a statement released on Monday, Ekwunife praised the resilience and dedication of her supporters throughout the rigorous campaign.
“I commend Governor Soludo on his victory and wish him success in steering Anambra forward,” she said.
The former lawmaker, known for her cross-party appeal, urged unity and collaboration to advance development in the state.Soludo’s second-term win solidifies APGA’s grip on Anambra, with results showing widespread support across urban and rural local government areas.
