Former Vice President Prof. Yemi Osinbajo on Saturday paid a courtesy call on ex-Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose at his Lagos residence, ahead of Fayose’s 65th birthday on November 15, 2025.
Osinbajo congratulated the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain on the milestone, explaining that he made the trip because he would be unavailable for the actual celebration.
“I had to come today because I won’t be around on the 15th,” he said.The ex-VP praised Fayose as “a resilient and steadfast Nigerian who doggedly pursues whatever he believes in.”
The warm visit shows the cross-party camaraderie between the two prominent figures, despite their differing political affiliations.
