Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has broken down in tears in a new video, expressing frustration and despair over ongoing family struggles, and has shared a heartfelt post declaring, “I give up.”
In the video shared via her Instagram Story in the early
hours of Friday, the actress said she was struggling emotionally and mentally.

“I tried. I feel like I’m going crazy, I’m losing my mind,
and it’s not making any sense. I’m really crying in front of everybody,”
Daniels said in the emotional clip.
The actress, who had earlier celebrated her parents’
reconciliation on Thursday, disclosed that her once‑estranged
parents reunited solely for her happiness.
“Two concluded sworn enemies reuniting with no negative
ulterior motive other than their daughter’s happiness,” she wrote.
Daniels revealed that her parents are currently in Abuja,
working together to secure the release of her brother, Sammy, who has allegedly
been in detention for days.
“Sammy’s detainment is taking way too long, but we will get
him out even if I have to march there myself and create a storm! Since they
want me!” she stated.
In another video shared by Daniels, fellow actress Mercy
Johnson was seen searching for Sammy. Johnson could be heard saying, “He’s not
here,” before noting that she would continue searching elsewhere.
Amid tears, Daniels expressed her frustration and hinted at
returning to her husband.
“But please, what am I even begging for? I don’t know. Do
you guys think it’s easy? Every time I wake up, I say one thing — oh my
brother, today I hear good news, he’s about to be free, then tomorrow I hear
another thing. Like, what’s the problem? But I’ve tried. I have to go. I will
go back,” she said.
Her latest outcry comes as she shared another disturbing
message regarding the circumstances surrounding her brother’s continued
detention, alleging severe abuse and corruption.
In a separate post shared on Friday, Regina Daniels further
voiced her distress, writing, “I give up ! What was my brother’s offense ?
Fighting for his baby sister because his in‑law would always beat her up ? I
actually accorded the Nigerian police some respect but shame on you all !!! It’s obvious the highest bidder always wins. Now I’m crippled! I will return if that’s the
only way, do whatever he says, get injected to be like a zombie, get locked up
and raped in the house. Only then will my brother return. Because by law, there
is no tangible case against sammywest ! Ned Nwoko is bigger than the whole of
Nigeria that’s what this means. We lost or rather I lost ! @sir.sammywest.”
The emotional outburst comes weeks after Daniels hinted she
had experienced domestic violence in her marriage.
On October 18, a viral video showed her in tears, surrounded
by aides and relatives, saying:
“In Ned Nwoko’s house, I am nothing. But in my house, I am a
queen. Not again. I can’t stand the violence, it’s too much.”
Nwoko denied the allegations shortly after, claiming his
wife’s outburst stemmed from “drug and alcohol abuse” and insisting she needed
rehabilitation.
On Wednesday, Daniels released another video pleading with Nigerians to stop attacking her mother, describing her as her “pillar and protector.”
