Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, former Minister of Interior and National Secretary of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has forecasted that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will lose the 2027 General Election.
Speaking at the commissioning of the ADC’s state secretariat in Ilorin, the former Osun State governor expressed confidence in his analysis, citing widespread dissatisfaction with the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Aregbesola criticized the APC’s tactics, stating, “If the APC were truly confident, they wouldn’t need to intimidate opposition members across Nigeria, from Lagos to Kebbi to Kaduna.
Their actions betray their lack of popularity.” He predicted that the ADC would capitalize on this discontent, asserting, “By God’s grace, the ADC will lead Nigeria and many states in 2027.”
He further described governors defecting to the APC as “known enemies of the people,” claiming their presence is widely rejected.
