The University of Benin (UNIBEN) has imposed a total ban on all sign-out celebrations on its premises, warning final-year students against participating in such activities to avoid expulsion or rustication.
In an official statement, the university management also urged parents, guardians, and relatives to refrain from organizing surprise celebrations for graduating students on campus.
The decision, aimed at maintaining decorum, ensuring student safety, and preserving the academic environment, comes with a stern warning of strict disciplinary measures for violators.
UNIBEN called for full compliance, emphasizing its commitment to upholding order and academic standards.
