A daring thief stole the mobile phone of Kaduna State Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Barrister Sule Shu’aibu (SAN), during a security-related event in the state on Thursday, October 16, 2025.
According to Leadership, the suspect infiltrated the tightly guarded venue, approached the commissioner, and made off with his phone.
The audacious act stunned attendees, who were left questioning how such a breach could occur in a setting with heavy security presence.
As of Friday, neither the stolen phone nor the suspect has been recovered, and authorities are yet to apprehend the culprit.
The incident has raised concerns about security lapses at high-profile events in Kaduna, prompting calls for a thorough investigation to identify and address vulnerabilities.
