Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, arrived at Hamad International Airport in Doha, Qatar, on Thursday evening for a four-day working visit.
Invited by Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser Al-Missned, Chairperson of the Qatar Foundation, the visit focuses on advancing solutions for out-of-school children and reforming Nigeria’s Almajiri education system.During her stay, Mrs.
Tinubu will meet with Sheikha Moza, Qatar’s Minister of Social Development Buthaina Al Nuaimi, and other key stakeholders.
She is accompanied by the Minister of State for Education, Prof. Suwaiba Ahmed, and Dr. Mohammed Sani, Executive Secretary of the National Commission for Almajiri and Out-of-School Children Education.
