One Million Bibles to Be Distributed in Honor of Seyi Tinubu’s 40th Birthday

In an initiative aimed at fostering moral renewal and ethical leadership among Nigerian youth, one million copies of the Holy Bible will be distributed across the country to commemorate the 40th birthday of Barrister Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The project, unveiled on Sunday during a thanksgiving service at the National Christian Centre in Abuja, is spearheaded by Hon. Belusochukwu Enwere, National Chairman of the Youth Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN).

Enwere emphasized that the initiative transcends personal celebration, framing it as a “spiritual investment” for Nigeria’s moral revival.

“This one million Bible project is a gift to the body of Christ and a seed for moral transformation. We aim to restore integrity, compassion, and love for humanity among young Nigerians,” he declared during the service.

The announcement coincided with synchronized thanksgiving services held in approximately 40 churches nationwide, where congregations offered prayers for the Tinubu family and Nigeria’s progress.

Rev. Ini Ukpuho, Chaplain of the National Christian Centre, led special prayers in Abuja, praising the initiative as a timely response to the erosion of societal values.

“In a time when moral decay is evident, this project is a beacon of hope,” Ukpuho stated. In a statement read on his behalf, Seyi Tinubu expressed deep appreciation for the gesture, underscoring the importance of faith-based education and moral discipline in shaping a united and responsible Nigeria.

“I am humbled by this initiative, which aligns with the need to nurture values that strengthen our nation,” he said.

The distribution of the first batch of Bibles is slated to begin in the coming weeks, targeting churches, schools, and youth ministries across Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones.

Organizers plan to collaborate with local Christian organizations to ensure the Bibles reach remote and underserved communities, amplifying the project’s impact.

The initiative has sparked discussions on social media, with some praising its intent to promote ethical values, while others question its scale and funding.

YOWICAN clarified that the project is funded through contributions from Christian groups and private donors, emphasizing transparency and accountability.
