National Security Adviser (NSA) Malam Nuhu Ribadu on Tuesday held a high-level meeting with the newly appointed Service Chiefs to align military operations with national security priorities.
The meeting involved the Chief of Defence Staff, Chief of Army Staff, Chief of Naval Staff, and Chief of Air Staff.
It followed their recent audience with President Bola Tinubu, who charged them to maintain professionalism, unity, and vigilance while intensifying the fight against insurgency and other threats.
As coordinator of Nigeria’s security architecture, Ribadu used the session to reinforce the President’s directives and ensure seamless synergy across the armed forces.
The engagement portrays the administration’s focus on inter-agency cooperation, operational efficiency, and robust national defence.
