The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has announced the start of applications for its Basic Military Training Course (BMTC) 46/2025, inviting qualified Nigerian youths to apply online at no cost.
The recruitment exercise, which opened on October 14, 2025, and will close on November 25, 2025, is accessible through the official portal at www.nafrecruitment.airforce.mil.ng.The opportunity is open to both tradesmen and non-tradesmen within specified age ranges: 18 to 22 years for non-tradesmen and 18 to 27 years for tradesmen.
Applicants must be Nigerian citizens and meet the NAF’s medical, physical, and psychological fitness standards.
A minimum of five credits, including Mathematics and English Language, in no more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO, GCE, NABTEB, or NBAIS examinations is required.
Tradesmen and sportsmen must also provide relevant professional certificates.The NAF emphasized that the application process is entirely free, cautioning applicants against fraudulent agents and unofficial websites.
Candidates are required to print acknowledgment, consent, and attestation forms, which must be signed by designated local government or security officers.
Successful applicants will be invited for zonal aptitude tests and further screening at NAF centers nationwide.Air Vice Marshal AH Bakari, signing for the Chief of the Air Staff, urged eligible Nigerians to take advantage of this opportunity to serve with professionalism and pride.
