The Federal Government has introduced the Basic Health Care Provision Fund (BHCPF) Guideline 2.0 to improve coordination and enhance healthcare delivery nationwide.
At the unveiling in Abuja, Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Professor Muhammad Ali Pate, highlighted that the revised guideline prioritizes performance-driven implementation, transparency, and accountability in managing health funds.
As Chairman of the BHCPF Ministerial Oversight Committee, Pate announced the approval of ₦32.9 billion for disbursement across all BHCPF implementation gateways, with every naira tracked to ensure effective healthcare delivery.
The launch occurred during the 3rd Quarter 2025 Ministerial Oversight Committee Meeting of the Federal Ministry of Health.
