Nollywood star Femi Adebayo has reached a new milestone as his artistry becomes the subject of academic research at Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU).
During a meeting with Oyinda Arike, an OAU student, Adebayo was thrilled to learn about her research project titled “The Aesthetics of Oral Performance in Femi Adebayo’s Seven Doors.”
Describing the moment as profoundly fulfilling, Adebayo said, “It’s inspiring to see my work move beyond stage and screen into academia. What began as passion and discipline has become a movement.”
He expressed renewed motivation to push creative boundaries and contribute to the growth of Nigerian cinema.
This achievement portrays the growing impact of Nigerian film and performance art in academic and cultural spheres.
