Justice Rahman Oshodi of the Special Offences Court in Ikeja, Lagos, admitted further evidence against former Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor Godwin Emefiele in an alleged $4.5 billion fraud case.
Emefiele faces a 19-count charge from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for alleged gratification and corrupt demands.
His co-defendant, Henry Omoile, is charged with three counts related to unlawful acceptance of gifts as an agent. The court adjourned the case to December 2 and 3, 2025, for a mini-trial.
