Bakery van knocks down two women in Ogbomoso

There are reports from Ogbomoso in Oyo State that a bakery van used for distribution of bread has reportedly knocked down two women in the ancient city.

The incident according to sources in the city occured along Alao-Akala memorial highway, Randa area of Ogbomoso.

The accident occurred in the early hours of Monday and the victims reportedly lost their lives as a result of the incident.

Sources narrated that the van is being used by the bakery for distribution of bread in the city.

It was learnt that the van with registration number Oyo AME 92 XB was on a high speed when the two women crossed the road, and were hit, leading to their death.

Officers of the Federal Road Safety Commission, FRSC, have evacuated the remains of the victims, it was gathered.
