President Bola Tinubu has extended heartfelt congratulations to Bishop David Olaniyi Oyedepo, founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide (Winners’ Chapel), on his 71st birthday.
In a statement issued by his Special Adviser, Bayo Onanuga, on Saturday, September 27, 2025, Tinubu joined Oyedepo’s family, congregants, David Oyedepo Ministries International, and the Christian community in celebrating the bishop’s remarkable influence.
He described Oyedepo as a transformative figure whose spiritual, educational, and philanthropic efforts have left a profound mark on Nigeria, Africa, and globally.
Tinubu praised Oyedepo’s discipline and dedication since founding the ministry in 1982, noting its far-reaching impact on economies through advancements in infrastructure, health, and education.
He highlighted the role of Oyedepo’s institutions—Kingdom Heritage Schools, Faith Academy, Covenant University, and Landmark University—in fostering human development, skills, and entrepreneurship, with Covenant and Landmark Universities competing favorably on the global stage.
“Your ministry, built from humble beginnings, has become one of Africa’s most impactful Christian organizations, inspiring countless ministries and influencing key economic sectors,” Tinubu said.
“Your contributions to nation-building through faith, discipline, and service are deeply valued, and you remain a pacesetter and servant leader for many to emulate.”
The President prayed for Oyedepo’s continued health, long life, and wisdom to keep uplifting individuals, families, and nations through the Word of Faith.
