Vice President Kashim Shettima received a comprehensive briefing in New York from key Nigerian officials, including Foreign Affairs Minister Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, ahead of the 80th United Nations General Assembly.
According to Stanley Nkwocha, Shettima’s spokesperson, in an X post, the briefing involved Justice Minister Lateef Fagbemi, Defence Minister Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, Innovation Minister Uche Nnaji, Trade Minister Jumoke Oduwole, and other diplomats.
The discussions focused on preparing for President Bola Tinubu’s national statement, which Shettima will deliver, highlighting the Renewed Hope Agenda to attract global investments to Nigeria.
