Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has congratulated celebrity chef Hilda Baci for achieving a new Guinness World Record for the largest serving of Nigerian-style Jollof rice.
In a heartfelt post on X, Tinubu praised Baci’s passion, resilience, and creativity in showcasing one of Nigeria’s most beloved dishes on the global stage.
“I congratulate you @hildabacicooks on setting another Guinness World Record for the largest serving of Nigerian style Jollof rice cooking,” Tinubu wrote.
“Your art of culinary techniques has not only brought pride to our dear nation, but has gained National and Global recognition.”
She highlighted Baci’s achievement as a testament to what young Nigerian women can accomplish through hard work, determination, and innovation.
Tinubu, noted that Baci’s feat has elevated Nigeria’s culinary heritage and inspired national pride.
“Through this feat, you have shown what young Nigerian women can accomplish with hard work, determination, and power of innovation,” she added, expressing prayers for greater accomplishments for Baci and other Nigerian youths who “dare to dream.”
Hilda Baci, already a celebrated figure for her previous Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon in 2023, has once again brought international attention to Nigerian cuisine.
