On Friday, Inspector-General of Police Kayode Egbetokun commissioned 59 armoured Toyota Hilux vehicles at the Force Headquarters in Abuja to bolster the Nigeria Police Force’s operational capabilities.
Built for durability, speed, and protection in challenging environments, the vehicles are set to enhance tactical operations nationwide, addressing the country’s rising insecurity.
Egbetokun urged commanders to deploy the vehicles effectively and lawfully to protect lives and curb crime, emphasizing that the commissioning reflects the Force’s dedication to improving operational strength and fostering public trust in policing.
