Nigeria and Colombia signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on political consultations during the Nigeria–Colombia Bilateral Meeting and Business Forum at the Presidential Villa.
The agreement was signed by Nigeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yusuf Tuggar, and Colombia’s Deputy Minister of Multilateral Affairs, Mauricio Jaramillo Jassir.
Jassir stated that the MOU would foster “very frequent political dialogue” and streamline visa approvals for Colombian diplomats, facilitating smoother official visits.
At the Business Forum’s plenary session, Vice President Kashim Shettima urged both nations to harness their vast potential for concrete economic benefits.
