Bolanle Ninalowo, the Nollywood actor, has denied a blogger’s claim that he reconciled with his ex-wife Bunmi, declaring he is “separated, divorced, and proudly bold” of it.
Ninalowo and Bunmi were married in 2007 and share two
children, Morakinyo and Aaliyah.
Public challenges have marked their relationship. They first
separated in 2019 amid allegations of infidelity before reconciling in 2021.
However, in September 2023, the actor made a final announcement that their
marriage had ended.
Recently, a verified Instagram user (Yeye_kudi_courtroom)
shared a statement allegedly written by Ninalowo, in which he confessed to past
mistakes in his marriage, including infidelity and neglect.
“I had to face myself before I could face my marriage. I had
to admit my wrongs, that I cheated, neglected, and left her to carry the weight
alone while I chased my own dreams,” the statement reads.
“She held on to the pain I caused until I became a man she
could no longer recognise. One day I saw it in her eyes, the truth that she had
grown comfortable without me.
“To bring her back, I had to change completely. I had to
strip away the old me and start again. Healing was hard, but love is never
easy, and it was worth every step.”
The Nollywood star, however, took to the comment section to
dismiss the post as “nonsense” and launched a sharp personal attack on the
blogger.
“You must be a mad human to post this nonsense! Very
unintelligent woman and uneducated woman you are,” he wrote.
“Get the f*ck off my case and focus on your cartoon
existence. Been separated & divorced since September 2023 and proudly bold
of it.
“Hoping this my response for the first time ever will
enlighten you. Sick, bitter and empty as woman.”
