148 Nigerians Safely Repatriated from Sudan, NEMA Confirms

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) successfully facilitated the repatriation of 148 Nigerian migrants from Sudan, with the group arriving at Malam Aminu Kano International Airport on Thursday.

According to a statement released by NEMA on Saturday, the returnees, comprising 25 adult males, 27 adult females, 39 male children, and 57 female children, were received by the agency’s Kano Operations Office.

They were transported to Chila Hotel for profiling and documentation by relevant authorities.

NEMA clarified that the returnees were not part of any reintegration program. Instead, they were provided with ATM cards for transport fare withdrawals after documentation, ensuring a smooth and coordinated reception process.
