In a social media video, Comfort detailed the incident that occurred on a flight from Uyo to Lagos, accusing flight attendant Juliana of escalating tensions over her struggle to turn off her phone.
Comfort explained that Juliana approached her mid-flight, demanding she switch off her device.
Her difficulty in complying appeared to frustrate Juliana, who reportedly said, "You will see."
After landing, Comfort alleged Juliana prevented her from disembarking with other passengers, ignoring her pleas to leave.
The situation worsened when Juliana noticed Comfort recording the incident, allegedly ripping off her wig, yanking her gold chain, and calling her a prostitute.
Comfort’s phone fell during the confrontation, shattering its screen.Overwhelmed by pain and humiliation, Comfort admitted to physically confronting Juliana, stating, “The pain she inflicted on me, dragging my gold… I was so angry I could not hold it.”
She clarified that her reaction, seen in the viral video, stemmed from being provoked, not unprompted aggression toward someone “old enough to be my mum.”
Airport security intervened, reportedly surrounding Comfort and dragging her off the plane, during which her top was torn.
She claimed officials filmed her and attempted to touch her inappropriately, leaving her traumatized as videos of her exposed body circulated online.
Comfort, a realtor, expressed distress over the ordeal and its public fallout.
