Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Policy Communication, Daniel Bwala, has declared that the president did not “Yorubanize” his cabinet.
Bwala said the president has met the Federal character
principles, stressing that claims of Yorubanization are false.
His remark comes amid former Secretary to the Government of
the Federation, SGF, Babachir Lawal, saying that Yorubas can’t be trusted.
However, in an interview with Channels Television’s Politics
Today, Bwala said: “As Spokesperson to President Tinubu, I state categorically:
claims of ‘Yorubanizing’ the cabinet are outright false.
“The President has fully met and exceeded the constitutional
federal character principle. The North solidly stands with him and rejects
divisive ethnic politics.
“This government is delivering, over 300,000 students have
accessed loans, states now receive triple allocations for bigger projects, and
food prices are easing.”
Bwala also declared that no Nigerian politician can match
Tinubu’s vision and capacity.
“No politician today can match his vision or capacity. Even
in the South East, where we had the least votes, his public acceptance has
risen.
“President Tinubu promised reforms, and in just months, the
results are undeniable.”
