Apostle Johnson Suleman, the General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries, has publicly criticised Nigerian billionaire Aliko Dangote over a series of fatal accidents involving his companies’ truck drivers.
The cleric’s outburst follows a recent accident involving a
Dangote truck in Auchi, Edo State, which resulted in the deaths of three
people.
He accused Dangote’s company of entrusting heavy-duty
vehicles to untrained and drug-influenced youths, putting innocent lives at
risk.
Suleman took to Instagram to express his frustration,
directly addressing Dangote.
“@Alikodangote, you are not the only rich man on earth. Your
recklessness in managing your business has caused harm to families and made
many parents childless. Your truck just killed 3 people a few minutes ago in
Auchi. You give trucks to little boys who are high on drugs and untrained. This
won’t go unchallenged,” he wrote.
VeryDarkMan, a popular social media activist, has also
weighed in, expressing outrage over the incident involving Dangote trucks in
Auchi, Edo State.
He accused the Dangote Group of alleged negligence, pointing
out the issue of unlicensed drivers behind the wheel of the truck.
The activist further called on the government to regulate
truck drivers, stating that if meaningful actions are not taken, communities
like Edo State and other places with similar accidents might reconsider
allowing Dangote trucks to operate within their borders.
Dangote truck crashed into Phyna’s
younger sister, Ruth Otabor, in Auchi, Edo State, leaving her with a severely
injured leg that required amputation.
The former reality TV star accused the company of trying to
conceal details of the crash and demanded justice for her sister.
