Troops of Operation FANSAN YANMA, in collaboration with C-Watch operatives, apprehended a female suspect in Malumfashi, Katsina State, on August 4, 2025, after discovering three loaded magazines and military gear in her possession.
The suspect was intercepted at approximately 1:00 a.m. during a routine checkpoint operation while attempting to leave the town under suspicious circumstances.
A thorough search of her bag revealed a military uniform, trousers, a tactical jacket, communication devices, and other security-related items, raising suspicions of potential terrorist logistical activities.
The woman is currently in custody and undergoing interrogation as authorities work to uncover her network and motives.
A security source indicated she may be connected to a syndicate supplying arms and equipment to terror groups in the region, though her identity and affiliations remain undisclosed.
Investigations are ongoing to determine the full scope of her activities and any links to broader terrorist operations in Katsina State.
