On August 20, 2025, Pakistan's Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) dismantled a drug trafficking network in Rawalpindi and Islamabad, apprehending a Nigerian woman, Wasilat Amusa, alias Alaba, for selling cocaine to students.
The arrest took place at a flat in Sector H-13, Islamabad, where authorities seized 180 grams of cocaine and a passport issued in Lagos.
According to an ANF spokesperson, Amusa was linked to drug supplies targeting educational institutions.
This arrest is part of ongoing efforts to curb cross-border drug trafficking involving Nigerian nationals, with several others previously detained. A case has been registered, and investigations are underway.
