A vehicle accident on the rugged terrain of Mambilla Plateau in Taraba State left four Nigerian soldiers injured.
The incident occurrednon Thursday as the troops navigated the mountainous region.The Emir of Mambilla, Dr. Shehu Audu Baju, personally participated in the rescue efforts, ensuring the soldiers received swift aid.
The injured were promptly evacuated to the 20 Battalion Barracks in Serti for urgent medical treatment.
Local community members and traditional leaders expressed their support, offering prayers for the soldiers’ quick recovery and advocating for the safety of other security personnel on duty.
