Actress Eniola Badmus has spoken out against a social media influencer who wished death on an individual due to political differences.
In a post on Instagram, Badmus expressed her disappointment and emphasized that no matter one’s political views, wishing harm or death on others is unacceptable.
She stressed that Nigerians should strive for better and pursue change through peaceful means, such as dialogue, truth, and unity.
Badmus urged citizens to choose decency over division, highlighting the importance of maintaining humanity and respect in political discourse.
According to her, Nigerians are capable of more and should not let hate to override their humanity.
“It’s truly disheartening to see a social media influencer use their platform to wish death on anyone at all. No matter your political views, we must never let hate override our humanity.
“As Nigerians, we are better than this. If we want change, let it be through dialogue, truth, and unity – not violence or death wishes. Let’s choose decency over division,” she wrote.
