Petroleum products marketers have reduced the price of Premium Motor Spirit in Nigeria.
The president of the Independent Petroleum Marketers
Association of Nigeria, Abubakar Maigandi, disclosed this in an interview with
DAILY POST on Wednesday.
He said its members in Northern Nigeria, including Abuja,
have slashed PMS prices from Wednesday to between N930 and N940 per litre from
N945 and N975.
In Lagos State, Maigandi said its members dispense petrol at
N890 per litre, down from N925. He added that IPMAN members sell fuel at
between N950 and N960 in eastern parts of Nigeria.
“Our members have reduced petrol prices on Wednesday
following Dangote Refinery’s ex-depot price drop.”
Empire Energy, Raniol filling stations in Gwarimpa, Abuja,
reduced its fuel price to N955 and N945 per litre on Wednesday from N975 and
N960 as of Monday.
Meanwhile, petrol prices have remained unchanged at MRS
Filling Station, Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited retail outlets in
Abuja as of the filling of this report.
Recall that on Monday, Dangote Refinery reduced its ex-depot
price of petrol to N840 per litre from N880 on Monday.
