FCT Minister and former Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike has appealed to Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo not to probe the government of his predecessor, Godwin Obaseki.
This appeal comes after former Governor Adams Oshiomhole called for an investigation into Obaseki's administration following the Supreme Court's validation of Okpebholo's election.
Wike who was in Edo State on Sunday, advised Okpebholo to refrain from probing Obaseki's government, suggesting that such actions could be counterproductive.
However, Wike also stated that if Obaseki were to cause any trouble for Okpebholo, then it would be appropriate to initiate a probe.
