Abdul Kareem Fawaz, a 35-year-old Nigerian man, has been charged with m*rder and possession of a knife in the UK.
Fawaz is accused of being involved in the death of 32-year-old Daniel Manuel, who was found with knife injuries at a residential address in Bondway, SW8, on July 5.
Fawaz has a previous conviction in the United States, where he served two years in jail for defrauding East Texans and others of nearly $1 million. In 2017, he was found guilty of aggravated identity theft, conspiracy to commit bank fraud, and aiding and abetting.
Fawaz is currently remanded in custody and is due to appear at Croydon Magistrates' Court today, July 7. A 33-year-old man who was also arrested at the scene has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
