Emmanuel Nwachukwu, an accountant, is the flagbearer of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) for the Anambra south senatorial district by-election scheduled for August 16, 2025.
The by-election in the senatorial district is being held to

unanimously endorsed by party stakeholders, reflecting strong confidence in his
candidacy.

corporate and political sectors, pledged to run an inclusive, issue-focused
campaign centred on empowerment, infrastructure development, and sustainable
growth for Anambra south.
“The people of Anambra South deserve effective
representation that prioritises their welfare and accelerates development. I am
honoured to carry the APGA banner and will work tirelessly to justify this
mandate,” he said in his acceptance speech.
He called on party members and constituents to support his
bid as the by-election approaches.
The bye-elections will be held on August 16.
